Tank farms

Oil terminals are storage areas for crude oil, gas and petrochemical products, typically located in coastal areas, but also near to refineries and airports.
Large quantities of flammable products are stored in these environments, which are loaded and unloaded into the tanks using process valves. The installation area is always a classified environment, and often open-air with significant thermal variations and aggressive atmospheric conditions.
