Solar tracking

The sun represents an inexhaustible source of energy that reaches our planet in the form of light radiation. A part of this radiation can be reflected by a receiving surface and converted into heat that can be captured and used in process manufacturing.
There are different technologies available for solar tracking, from the simplest with step adjustment to more complex continuous tracking systems, each of which offers specific characteristics in terms of efficiency and complexity.
Duplomatic has developed an extremely precise control architecture for continuous motion of the parabolic trough in order to concentrate solar rays with maximum precision. This technology has been developed in collaboration with ENEA and subsequently used for the Archimede project in Sicily.
