Duplomatic MS is Gold sponsor of GFPS 2022, the symposium organized in Naples, Italy, by the Global Fluid Power Society for students and young researchers in fluid power areas.

In the Industry Panel “Applied Innovation Paolo Leutenegger, General Manager of Duplomatic MS, on Friday October 14^th at 1:30 pm will talk about

• “A new paradigm for improving energy-efficiency through Synchronous Reluctance Motor Technology” in the plenary session 3 | “energy saving fluid power technology for off-highway vehicles”.

A second contribution from Leutenegger will follow at 4:15 pm about

• “An innovative solution to control a highly complex actuation plant” dedicated to the EXPO 2022 UAE Pavilion project, whose roof motion control system was made by Duplomatic.

A new paradigm for improving energy-efficiency through Synchronous Reluctance Motor Technology

Electrification and Energy Efficiency represent two main drivers in motion technology developments. Among the many domains where energy saving can be sought, the efficiency of the primary power source is the most effective for achieving the efficiency objective at system level, both in industrial and mobile applications. In hydraulics systems for instance, fluid power is provided by a pump driven typically by an electric motor, similarly in electromechanical applications where the primary source of power is electric.

Advances in the Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SRM) Technology in connection with the development of cost-effective high-performance electronic drives open new perspectives for the realization of intrinsic efficient energy supply systems that can be used for motion. Duplomatic Motion Solution has been investing in this technology since a couple of years and will provide insight into the benefits of SRM technology, comparing its characteristics and performance results with more traditional approaches.

EXPO 2022 UAE Pavilion Roof Wing Opening System

Paolo Leutenegger, General Manager of Duplomatic MS, will explain the Roof Wing Opening System (RWOS) developed by Duplomatic for the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020.
