Our IO-Link Competence Center, the first and only one in Italy, offers the expertise about the IO-Link communication standard. Our Team is available for technical support in developing IO-Link devices and systems and also for the execution of certification tests and dedicated training courses.

Our main goal is to train and technically inform the market on the technology itself!

Among the Certification Tests that the Duplomatic MS Competence Center offers, there are: the Device Protocol test - carried out with a certified tool -, the Physical Layer Test and the EMC - carried out with the use of a specific IO-Link Master.

All tests necessary to complete the development cycle of a new IO-Link device!

 

What is IO-Link?

 

IO-Link is an industrial communication protocol that completes the fieldbus network up to the last mile of the field, digitizing all those applications that are still analog or simple digital.

The main advantage of IO-Link compared to a "simple digital" is the bi-directionality of communication: with IO-Link, in fact, even the sensor / actuator in the field begins to communicate diagnostic data, error messages or alarms that help in the management and maintenance of the system.

 

Furthermore, Duplomatic MS offers its IO-Link stack device, an electronic component totally made in Italy, inside an embedded module. Thanks to this "all in one" solution it is possible to quickly integrate the IO-Link communication protocol into the own automation product, without significant impact on development. In this way this profitable mean of communication between the field and the control became more usable.
