Reachstackers

Reachstackers are vehicles used to move and stack intermodal containers of small-medium dimensions. This type of lifting truck is equipped with a telescopic arm with pneumatic jaws that grab the load on the short sides for lifting to considerable heights or horizontal movement. With a counterbalanced frame, four wheels and a powerful diesel engine, reachstackers can very quickly manage containers of several tonnes. Their power, combined with their versatility, has seen them progressively take the place of high-capacity forklifts.
