DESCRIPTION

Embedded solution to easily integrate the IO-Link protocol on devices, be they sensors or actuators. It is complete with IO-Link stack and an application for I O management.
It can be used in 3 different modes, with and without external microcontroller:

  • Simple Mode: without external micro, for simple applications: the signals are connected directly to the module which, through an application inside the module, digitally transfers them via IO-Link
  • Host Mode: with additional external microcontroller, for more complex applications: the external micro manages the application, while the module manages only the IO-Link communication; the external micro can communicate with the module via Modbus or SPI
  • Application Mode: without external microcontroller, all in one solution; use of the internal micro of the module for the proprietary application
