Green energy by Duplomatic Solution
In the green energy sector, Duplomatic MS has been involved in the Archimede Project, with the aim of producing low-cost and environmentally friendly solar energy. The innovative technology is based on the concentration of solar energy through parabolic mirrors and the consequent heating of a fluid, whose thermal energy can be accumulated and is able to produce steam, activate turbines and generate electricity. This process uses a particular mixture of molten salts that can reach 550 ° C as a heat transfer fluid, without losing sight of respect for the environment, since all precautions have been taken to avoid soil pollution in the event of fluid leaks, both as regards the mixture of molten salts which, in contact with the atmosphere solidifies in a few second, both for the choice of biodegradable hydraulic fluid.
Duplomatic MS has created the solar tracking system for the collectors, consisting of the support trellis, complete with rotation shaft and relative cylinders and the hydraulic drive unit, complete with electronic control panel. The whole system has been designed keeping in mind the criteria of functionality, safety and energy saving.
The use of proportional directional valves in customized configuration, a customized digital card and a rotary encoder, allows the system to continuously track the sun in a closed loop of position and speed, with a positioning accuracy of less than ± 0.8 mrad. The system tracks the sun at a speed between 0 and 45 mrad / min and makes it safe at a speed ten times higher. The structure of the driving tower and the hydraulic cylinders used make it possible to maintain the pointing precision unchanged with wind up to 16 m / s, which corresponds to a resistant torque of 85,000 Nm.
A 360 ° “Motion Solution” success.
